Mini Oreo Cookies or Rolos or Bubble Gum Gold Nuggets or Chocolate Coins or Gold Chocolate Nuggets
Wilton Gold Color Mist (only for the Mini Oreo Cookies)
2 oz. disposable mini cups with lids (these are sold on Amazon, Target and Walmart)
LUCKY YOU Printable
Black Spray Paint
Glue Stick
2 inch circle cutter or scissors
Upcycled cardboard or newspaper
Paper Towel

:: Here’s What To Do ::

Using the 2 oz. disposable mini cups with lids and black spray paint lay them upside down on upcycled cardboard or newspaper and spray paint them black. I found the spray paint pictured in Home Depot for $1. (Make sure you do this in a well ventilated area, along with covering your surface). You will need at least two coats of the black spray paint. I made 55 of these and only needed one can. Make sure you allow each coat to completely dry before adding the next.

Using this LUCKY YOU Printable, print and cut each out using a 2 inch circle cutter or scissors. Using the glue stick, place glue directly on the top of the plastic lid and then paste the “LUCKY YOU” circle on top. Make sure to smooth out thewith your fingers and use your nails to glue the edges in.

Then, fill your “pots” with Rolos (up to 4 Rolos fit in each container with the lid on), Bubble Gum Gold Nuggets, Chocolate Coins or Gold Chocolate Nuggets.

Place the Mini Oreo Cookies flat on a paper towel. Place them close together to get the most out of your Gold Spray. Using the Wilton Gold Color Mist, spray the Mini Oreo Cookies evenly and allow to dry between coats. The more coats you put, the more realistic it will look, so it’s up to you how much you want to put to spread out the use of your can. You can also spread the sides of the mini Oreos (optional).
