:: Samara :: The Ring :: DIY Halloween Costume :: by Turtle on October 17, 2019 in halloween • 0 Comments Looking for a simple, creepy, comfy, last minute, and cheap costume this Halloween? Here's a DIY on Samara from The Ring movie. :: HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED :: White Long Nightgown White Socks (optional) DirtBucketWater hoseStickHanger :: HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO DO :: Find an area that has a lot of dirt. Add water to it, so that it becomes muddy. :: Halloween DIY Costumes Ideas :: Place your nightgown and socks (optional) on top of the muddy dirt. (Note: I used socks, as barefoot is not an option for me and shoes make it less creepy.) :: Halloween Costumes Scary Homemade :: Stomp on the nightgown and socks very well into the muddy dirt, making sure to get it all very dirty and doing it unevenly (some areas darker than others). :: Halloween DIY Costume Woman :: Continue to step on and rub in different parts of the nightgown and in different places in your yard. This will ensure you get different marks on the gown. :: Easy Halloween DIY Costumes :: Fill a bucket to about half with water. :: Halloween Costumes Creepy :: Add plenty of dirt to the water and stir with a stick. :: Halloween DIY Costume Ideas :: Place the socks and the end of the nightgown into the bucket and ensure that the bottom part remains soaking in there, for about 30 minutes or so. The longer the better. :: DIY Halloween Costumes Scary :: Then take them out and lay them there to dry and allow the sun to really set in the stains. :: Homemade Scary Costumes :: I repeated the steps above and then actually washed it once in between, to give it this old and worn out looking effect to it. :: Halloween DIY Costumes :: I did it a few more times, until I got the look I was looking for....gross and creepy. :: Homemade Scary Costume :: Then rinsed it off enough with the hose so that it's clean enough for you to wear and then hang dry! :: Halloween DIY Costume :: Wet your hair and place gel in it, so you have a "wet look", then flip it forward! Add black chipped off black nail polish for a creepier look. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
