Nothing says HAPPY HALLOWEEN like
TRICK AND TREATS!
YESSSSS! In order for you to get your treats…
you need to go through the trick…
a whole bunch of Gak Slime that is!
:: Here’s What You’ll Need ::
Borax Detergent
Liquid White Glue
Life Savers Hard Candies or any small individually wrapped candy of choice
Food Coloring (Neon and Assorted Colors)
Disposable 5.5 oz Clear Snack Cups with Lids (also sold at Walmart)
Water
Measuring cups and spoons
Small and Large Bowl
Hot Glue Gun
2″ Circle Hole Punch
Trick and Treat! Halloween Labels Printable
Scissors
There are two versions of the printables… CIRCLES:
And SQUARES…in case you prefer not to use the snack cups or just don’t have circle punch for the labels.
:: Here’s What to Do ::
Print out the Trick and Treat! Halloween Labels Printable and punch out each circle using the 2″ Circle Hole Punch. For my project, I used the corresponding color with the color of gak slime I chose to do. Feel free to do the same, or mix and match!
Using the Hot Glue Gun (low temp option preferably), place a dot of glue in the center of each lid and quickly place a punched out circle on top.
…On to the GAK SLIME! If you have a preferred recipe to do…go for it….if not, here’s one…
I DID THIS RECIPE FOR EACH COLOR (orange, red, lime green, black and purple) ~ which filled up FOUR 5.5 oz snack cups per color.
(So, for 5 colors x 4 cups per color = 20 cups in total…do more/less as you need)
1 tsp. Borax Detergent per color
4 oz. bottle of Liquid White Glue per color
Food Coloring (Neon and Assorted Colors)
1 1/2 cups water per color
Small and Large Bowl

Mix 1 tsp. Borax and 1 cup of water in a small bowl until dissolved.
:: Halloween Trick Treats ::
Mix 4 oz. glue and 1/2 cup water in a larger bowl. :: Halloween Trick Treat Ideas ::
Add food coloring. Check out McCormick’s Food Coloring Guide here. Stir until combined.
:: Trick n Treats ::
Add Borax mixture to the glue mixture.
:: Trick Treats ::
Continue to stir until it all combines.
Until it all separates from the bowl and looks like this. I placed each color in to Tupperwares for temporary storage…
:: Halloween Tricks Treats ::
…or begin to fill each snack cup immediately.
Now…for the TREATS! Add about two of each color…
And begin to shove them in with your finger…one by one…
Until no more fit!
:: Spooky Treats Halloween ::
Add your lid…and Trick And Treat!

This is a great idea to do individually in snack cups or just leave in a giant bowl! Great for parties or trick or treaters!
To make spooky or creepy treats, use eyeball ball gumballs, organ gummies or body part gummies instead of regular candy.
